The project is a 2-storey, almost 3000sqft, 4-bedroom condominium apartment. A very old apartment, the works involve overhaul of the whole unit replacing all finishes and major reconfiguration of layout to make sense to the family. The 2-storey unit is with loft spaces, several interesting double volume focal points are discovered. These "strategic" focal point walls which were originally bare are accentuated with cladding of marble in a scaled random pattern divided by stainless steel inserts. These "Soaring Marble Walls" create a dramatic, modern yet plush look. The impractical original layout with the living and son's bedroom upstairs is resolved by bringing the living to the more public 1st storey and converting the whole of 2nd storey to masters cum study. A more intimate living right at the end of the 1st storey of the apartment is created. Dining is relocated to the space with loft above, creating a grandeur.
