This field of study is also known as Environmental Psychology. These 2 disciplines go hand in hand and in the last decade or so, this topic has been receiving more attention. No matter what the space &ndash; your bedroom, the office, yoga studio, doctor&rsquo;s office, a criminal court &ndash; all of the objects and elements found in a space will affect you in one way or another.

Yes, I&rsquo;m sure the reason why you click on this video is to find out whether your design is cringey... &quot;One of my pet peeve, is these cowboy fake IDs who in the spirit of profit, will propose stupid, really ugly false ceiling designs. They may say certain things like artisan value, artistry to fabricate yadah yadah, but the reality is, they just made the ceiling ugly, distracting and complicated. What&rsquo;s worse is that sometimes when paired with the downlights, the whole ceiling looks messy and overkill.

Now if I say the word, &ldquo;renovation&rdquo; the first words that may come into your mind, could be &ldquo;HDB&rdquo; or Home renovation or cowboy contractors. During the circuit breaker lockdown period, all of us were working and studying from home. In this period I had a chance to observe some of the games my elder son was playing and what caught my attention was this game called Minecraft. Now in case you are just as &quot;suaku&quot; as me, the Minecraft is a video game. When Braydon was playing minecraft, he was actually creating buildings and the scale of some of his projects ranged from small structures to large scale architecture. Some of the architecture totally blew my mind. And I am actually drawing comparison with what he does vs what we the designers do nowadays.&nbsp; Definition of *Suaku:Suaku (pronounced sooah-koo) is a slang term for a generally uncool, unworldly person who is ignorant about some topic or another. It is derived from the Hokkien dialect of Chinese, and in characters is , which translates into mountain tortoise.
